Low Cost Full Featured Hosted Solution for Smaller Retailers

MarCole Interactive Systems, the leading provider of gift registry solutions for multi-channel retailers has introduced CatalogWorks - a low cost, full featured online shopping application designed especially for small to medium size retailers and web-only stores. It is designed to quickly and easily add e-commerce functionality to an existing non-transactional web site. The shopping user interface is customized with the retailers' logo, colors and images to reflect existing branding.
Customers can shop online from an unlimited product assortment utilizing intuitive navigation, enabling them to quickly find the right products.
They can easily navigate from department to sub-department or collection, to the SKU; or use a quick description search with keywords. An advanced option enables searching by various criteria such as department, price range, brand, item number and/or item description.
Related products can be grouped in appropriate collections and the product display order can be controlled by the retailer to maximize merchandising effectiveness. Furthermore, SKU or collection specific messages, such as available on-line only, special order, seasonal, etc. can be displayed.
Non-technical staff can easily add, delete, organize, categorize, and enhance product information - driving sales.
CatalogWorks is designed as a stand-alone on-line shopping system and can be easily integrated with MarCole's Gift RegistryWorks. Once an item is located, customers can place it in their shopping cart or add it to their gift registry or wish list.
MarCole hosts CatalogWorks at a secure IBM facility. All the retailer needs to administer their shopping site is a PC with a web browser.
Contemporary tools make it possible to automatically, grab and display multiple product images in real-time from vendor or distributor image servers, eliminating the need to create or maintain large image libraries. Item information, images, prices, sale prices and inventory status can be updated automatically or manually.
