Low Cost Full Featured Solution for Smaller Retailers
WALNUT CREEK, CA. MarCole Interactive Systems, the leading provider of gift registry solutions for chain stores, has introduced Gift RegistryWorks - Software as a Service (SaaS) designed especially for smaller retailers.
The contemporary SaaS model offers significant benefits to retailers. These include lower cost, quicker deployment, built-in support with continuous technology enhancements, universal access with a web browser, minimized risk and industrial strength secure hosting for security and reliability; without a long-term commitment. No investment in expensive hardware or software is required.
David Pava, MarCole's VP of Sales says; "There is no faster, easier or less expensive way for small or medium size retailer to deploy a state-of-the-art in-store and web based gift registry than as a software service."
Tony Antoon, VP of Finance for Viking Home Chef, a 14-store kitchenware and cooking school agrees. After Viking briefly experimented with gift registry using a basic alternative application - he quickly realized the revenue generating potential - but his customers and employees demanded a more robust, easier to use in-store and web application. "That's why we choose MarCole. Their hosted software as a service solution was just what we were looking for; a proven industrial strength solution, that would allow us to compete effectively - at an affordable price."
Other new MarCole SaaS customers include: ABT Electronics, MacKenzie- Childs, Great News Discount Cooking, David M. Brian, Dish it Out, Mrs. Cooks, The Nest, and Vonda's Gifts.
Additionally, Ampersand, J. Rake Jewelry, O.C.Tanner Co., The Village Gourmet, Viva Terra, Julian The Village Peddler and Pipin McGee, expected to go live with Gift RegistryWorks within the next month.
David Pava, VP of Sales for MarCole reports that he continues to see increased interest in gift registry from both independent and chain retailers serving non-traditional registry segments, including Sporting Goods, Consumer Electronics, Jewelry, and Home Improvement in addition to the traditional Housewares, Kitchenware, Tabletop and Baby categories.
